Congratulations on taking
this first step to becoming a non-smoker!!!
I
realize from some of you, this may be something you’ve tried
before, and for other’s this will be the first time you’ve made
this commitment. By selecting this program you are being very
wise to consider hypnosis as part of your overall strategy.
Hypnosis incorporates the “power of suggestion”. It utilizes
proven suggestions to aid your confidence and assist you into
thinking and living as a non-smoker, easily, happily and
proudly. Although not everyone can be hypnotized, approximately
95% of the population will be very responsive to hypnosis.
The “grouchies” of quitting are minimized greatly, and often
eliminated, through hypnotic assistance.
Hypnosis is
nothing more than the unconscious mind responding to ideas in
keeping with your goals, i.e. to stop smoking. You are never
unconscious, although you might cat-nap, and I can never do or
say anything that is contrary to your morals or ethics.
Being hypnotized is very similar to the “day dream” state we all
achieve from time to time. The emotional relaxation is one of
the most pleasant side benefits.
There are no magic wands in life, however your commitment to
working at becoming a non-smoker is more than half the battle.
Incorporating all of the tools available to you will go an
enormous way in making that goal your victory. Hypnosis is one
of those tools that you may avail yourself of.
One
of the tools I suggest you consider is nicotine replacement
therapy, either the patch or the gum. You may not want or need
to do an entire program, but having the patch or gum on hand can
often times make a huge difference . . . it’s basically why do
it the hard way when there’s something available that can make
it easier.
The first time we meet will be the actual QUIT DATE and we will
be together approximately 90+ minutes. Part of that time will be
spent talking, so that I can get to know you better as well as
you getting to know me. It will also give you the time to air
your questions, fears about quitting. You will also be
introduced to a mini-example of hypnosis - which is intended to
get you past this unknown of what hypnosis is . . . and the
final part of this time frame will be the actual Hypnosis
session for QUITTING. It will incorporate much of what I have
heard from you.
Changing your routine will be 90% of the battle in QUITTING.
Take your morning cup of coffee (no, I am not suggesting you
give it up) . . . but alter the time sequence for getting up,
padding to the kitchen, pouring that first cup & lighting up.
Move the coffee pot to a different counter, change the mug
you drink out of, sit in another room, have it at a different
time. Routine is habit . . . and habit stimulate cravings . . .
so BREAK THE ROUTINE. Look at the various aspects of your day
and think about what changes you can make. Millions have broken
the cycle before you and you WILL FIND THE WAY (within you) TO
ALSO BREAK THE CYCLE OF SMOKING!!!
